Welcome! We are Bri and Liz, the moms behind Our Traveling Tots. We have been friends for almost 15 years and are now in our favorite stage yet - motherhood!
Our goal is to show other moms & parents that travel is possible after kids - especially with the right products, destinations, and preparation. As credentialed teachers, we merge our knowledge in child development and love for travel to assist families in learning essential information for successful journeys.
If you have young kids, or are a new parent dying to get out and explore, then come along for the ride!

Hi! I’m Bri, mom to adventurous Leighton (4) and sweet Rory (8 mo.)! I am an elementary turned stay at home mom, but forever traveler. I was born and raised in Southern California, but now live in Boise, ID with my family of 4.

Growing up, I always had a passion for traveling, experiencing different cultures, and being on the go. We camped and traveled as a family often, and I always planned on sharing these experiences with my own family. My love for adventure only grew when I studied in London during college. During that time I was able to intern in an international setting, travel to Germany and Greece, and learn so much about foreign cultures and religions.
Since then, I've been fortunate enough to jet-set, cruise, and road trip through some of the best parts of the USA, Europe, Asia, & Central America. My husband is a commercial airline pilot, only making my desire to travel stronger. It has always been my goal to have my children see the world and be adventurous. So here we are, hoping to share everything we have/are learning with you. Come explore with us!

Welcome to our page! My name is Liz, I am a former middle school science teacher and mom to curious Grant (4) and smiley Blake (7 mo.). For as long as I can remember, I was out camping and hiking with my family. We were spending short weekends in our local mountains and every summer would go somewhere new and exciting. I cherish those memories and am grateful that my parents prioritized getting me and my two younger sisters out to see the world, even though I know it wasn’t always easy. As I got older, this passion for experiencing what was out there continued to grow. I was fortunate enough to study abroad in Argentina, play lacrosse in Germany, camp through national parks, road trip up and down the coast of California, explore Thailand with my best friend, and so much more. And now that my husband and I have two kids, we want the same for them. However, as a mom, I know that travel and even the day to day outings can be intimidating and exhausting. While what we do isn’t always glamorous, I hope that through our lived experiences Bri and I are able to help parents get out there with their kids and explore.
