Our Traveling Tots
Hi! We are Bri and Liz, two moms with the itch to travel. We started Our Traveling Tots as a marriage between two things we love most, our kids and traveling.
When you have a baby people often tell you that you won’t be able to travel or do the things you used to, but we want to show you that those people are wrong!
With a passion to explore, we are inspired to help and encourage other parents to adventure with their little ones. If you have young kids, or are a new parent dying to get out and explore, then come along for the ride! Whether you’re planning a staycation or a cross-country excursion, we’ll share the travel tips, itineraries, and must-have items that we are learning as we venture out with our traveling tots!

Hi! I’m Bri, mom to Leighton! I am a kindergarten teacher by day, bucket list planner by night. My family and I moved to Boise from Orange County in June 2021, and we are loving exploring our new home.
Growing up, I always had a passion for traveling, experiencing different cultures, and being on the go. We camped and traveled as a family
Hi! I’m Bri, mom to Leighton! I am a kindergarten teacher by day, bucket list planner by night. My family and I moved to Boise from Orange County in June 2021, and we are loving exploring our new home.
Growing up, I always had a passion for traveling, experiencing different cultures, and being on the go. We camped and traveled as a family often, and I always planned on sharing these experiences with my own family. My love for adventure only grew when I studied in London during college. During that time I was able to intern in an international setting, travel to Germany and Greece, and learn so much about foreign cultures and religions.
Since then, I backpacked through Thailand with my best friend, jet-set all over the USA with my husband, and visited Singapore and Bali. My husband is a commercial airline pilot, only making my desire to travel stronger. It has always been my goal to have my children see the world and be adventurous. So here we are, hoping to share everything we have/are learning with you. Come explore with us!

Welcome to our page! My name is Liz, I am a middle school science teacher and mom to Grant. For as long as I can remember, I was out camping and hiking with my family. We were spending short weekends in our local mountains and every summer would go somewhere new and exciting. I cherish those memories and am grateful that my parents prioritized getting me and my two younger sisters out to see the world, even though I know it wasn’t always easy. As I got older, this passion for experiencing what was out there continued to grow. I was fortunate enough to study abroad in Argentina, play lacrosse in Germany, camp through national parks, road trip up and down the coast of California, explore Thailand with my best friend, and so much more. And now that my husband and I have our 23 month old son, we want the same for him. However, as a mom, I know that travel and even the day to day outings can be intimidating and exhausting. While what we do isn’t always glamorous, I hope that through our lived experiences Bri and I are able to help parents get out there with their kids and explore.
